H.R. Pufnstuf Animated

I loved the cult hit show H.R. Pufnstuf. The Kroffts brothers (from Quebec) were revolutionaries, with inventive worlds and innovative characters. I won’t get into what H.R.Pufnstuf is, but you can go HERE to find out. Anyway, I was doing a little internet surfing when I came across this gem of a project- H.R. Pufnstuf Animated! Todd Kauffman, a Director/Producer (from Toronto) and co-founder of Neptoon Studios has been independently working (and paying) for this new animated version. Highlights from his blog include walk cycles of characters, storyboards, character mockups and a up dated version of the original theme song by James Black and Rick Jackett of Finger Eleven.  Just amazing work!

Check it out HERE!

That is all kinds of awesome! I had a real soft spot for that show, although my wife declared that it still terrifies her. Not sure why…

Later 🙂
