Jim Henson we remember…


Jim Henson September 24, 1936-May 16, 1990

Today is the day we remember Jim Henson. 

The most widely known American puppeteer in modern American television history. He was also a film director, television producer, and the founder of The Jim Henson Company, the Jim Henson Foundation, and Jim Henson’s Creature Shop.

Jim Henson died of pneumonia caused by severe Streptococcus “A” bacteria at the age of 53 on May 16, 1990.
