The Final Weekend Features Appearances by Special Guests: Steve Whitmire, Performer of Kermit the Frog, and Heather Henson, Puppetry Artist and Daughter of Jim Henson

Steve Whitmire and Heather Henson will make appearances at select screenings during the final weekend of Muppets™, Music & Magic: Jim Henson’s Legacy, a film festival highlighting the varied work of Jim Henson. STEVE WHITMIRE has been a principal Muppet performer since 1978, behind characters including Ernie and Kermit the Frog since Jim Henson’s death in 1990, as well as characters including Rizzo the Rat, Beaker, Statler, Wembley Fraggle, and Sprocket the Dog.  HEATHER HENSON is a member of the Board of Directors for The Jim Henson Company; co-creator of the Orlando Puppet Festival; founder of IBEX Puppetry, an Orlando-based national touring company; and creator of innovative works combining dance, music, video projection, and puppetry.
